Travel Wishes: FS Bora Bora

I don't know if you've ever thought about Bora Bora or even know where it is... Because I do I feel the need to show everyone what they're missing. Now, I've always known about Bora Bora thanks to geography but I have to go for graduation, this place is beautiful.

It costs about 60,000 XPF ( $650 usd) per night for a standard room, but of course I'm trying to go all out and get the over water bungalow or beach house which runs 1000 usd or more a night. I'm posting pics of the over water bungalow I WILL stay in when I visit.

I want this to be my graduation gift to myself. This might mean I'll have to wait until December instead of right after graduation in May, but I think the wait will be well worth it.

The OFFICIAL RIP Post

So I had my iPhone3g for YEARS! I've had it since the fall of my second year of college and I'm a senior this year. I LOVED my iPhone and used it for everything. It was my alarm clock, calendar, holder of all my secrets, it was my all.

Unfortunately, I dropped my beloved iPhone and cracked the screen about a week or two ago. After this, I began to hold it closer and closer to me and tried to hold it together until I could get the iPhone4 on what would have been this upcoming Friday. Unfortunately, while getting ready for Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, my baby left us to go on to technology heaven.

I won't even pretend, I cried. Not because of the phone-less aspect that would follow but because my iPhone was my best friend. I could tell it anything without a worry of my secrets getting out. She held on to thousands of memories, that I have since imported into iPhoto, and never once criticized me for them. She was my connection to the job market and the outside world as I knew it. Without her, I'm not sure how I can escape this bubble I live in that I call college.

R.I.P. T-baby. My beautiful 3g that got me through college as I knew it. Without you, my world wouldn't be the same.

Craziest/ Most Productive Day In a While...

So, I did something good today- Habitat for Humanity with my girls. :)

It felt great helping build a home for someone but I was also having the worst personal day ever. To say the least, I'm without a cellphone... -_-
